Collection: Pooter Gifts

Gifts are important. We think they should be thoughtful and put a smile on someone’s face. We also think they should live on long after they’ve been given and bring joy over and over again. That’s why we created Pooter. ‘We’ are John and Louise. We’re married and have twins, one boy and one girl, ‘The Pooters’. They’ve made us think differently and probably inspired a lot of our gifts. We write and illustrate them in our own little studio over copius amounts of tea. Our first range ‘A present for my...’ was released at the end of 2013 and we have just launched our second range ‘You’re going to be...’ in 2015.

Our first range is called ‘A present for my...’. Each one tells the story of the journey the child went on while selecting a present for a particular adult in their life. In the end they discard all their crazy ideas and get them a gorgeous pair of socks instead. It’s the gift from little people to big people.

You’re going to be...
‘You’re going to be...’ is a new range of gift books that are given from mums to be and to mums to be. They announce or celebrate the arrival of a new member of the family. Each one is a tongue-in-cheek look at things you’ll be expected to do. Then neatly tucked in the back is a beautiful gift for the person, and the new person they are about to meet.
